Web-Based Discussions

To prepare for this workshop, we will use some web-based discussions to focus on what kind of projects interest you and to address any technical questions you have. More information about the web-based discussions is available after you "sign in" to the discussions.

The first step in reading and adding to the discussions is to type in the username and password you were given, using only lower-case letters. Your username and password is your email address, before the @ symbol. So, if your email address is Hclinton@whitehouse.gov, your username and password would be hclinton. If you don't have an email address, your username and password are the first letter of your first name followed by the first 7 letters of your last name. These items are typed into a box like the one below. (Note: The box below is for display only and is not active. Usernames and passwords cannot be typed into it.)
