Lebanon Middle School World Fair Series:
Each year, the 7th grade students at Lebanon Middle School spend the winter months becoming 'international experts' in preparation for their school's spring World Fair. ISIS was asked to assist in this process by providing a series of interactive programs focusing on different world regions. In 1997 - 1998, students in the Middle Eastern study group participated in the Middle Eastern Foodways program that took students step-bystep through the process of preparing hummus, a classic Middle Eastern dish. Other programs in the series included the East Asian storytelling program, "The Crane Wife," the Music from Zimbabwe, and a Codices of Mexico program.
